LDR required for WD5000BMVV-11GNSW0 14.DAP

Hello Everyone

I needed LDR or Full Firmware for the said model to use with WDMarvel 9.x licensed version

Model: WD5000BMVV-11GNSW0
ROM : 14.DAP

Now My Problem is When connected with USB PCB (2061-701675 & INIC-1607E) it asked Smartware Password but the customer never set any password (Customer is genuine - Father in Church)

here attached 25.mod (my HDD)mod25-Original.jpg & 25.rpm from netmod25-1426T.jpg there are some diff. I can't understand

is any problem in mod 25????

This should be a SED drive.
Data seems encrypted.
If you have all the modules, you don't need nothing else...

First off, do you have a way to actually decrypt the data if you find the key sector? E.G. Do you have PC-3000? If not it may not matter much. The magic sector is hidden in an HPA near the end of the drive (by replacing the PCB it'll now be open). Just search backward from the end of the drive for the letters "WD". You'll find a sector which starts with those letters and contains the encryption key.

I have only WDMarvel 9.x Licensed Version

It is same as MOD 25 contents

also Sector 976769048 Sec-976769048.jpg

Remaining all are zeros

Pls help me how to proceed

Doesn't look like encryption was enabled based on the look of that sector.

But asking smartware user password when connected through usb Native board.

if connected via SATA PCB data is encrypted ( See my previous post of sector 0)
