FIREBrick Forensic Box

Wed Jun 03, 2015 11:22 am

Anyone here ever heard of this project?

It seems to be a custom BIOS flashed linux build which makes the computer strictly a write blocking forensic imaging tool. Perhaps it could be tweaked to make a homebrew hardware imager similar to DDI :?: Might be worth investigating for someone with some programming skils (which I don't have).

Exchanged some mails with Pavel about capabilities of the tools.
It says it can manage bad sectors for now. So may it worth the value for imaging drives in not so bad shape....
