I'd say that I'm not surprised by this. I can't speak for others, but I find that 99% of the SAS drives I get here either work with a few bad sectors or are a fatal head crash. I prefer to image them on one of my linux systems and haven't even seen enough to justify getting DeepSpar's SAS imager.

But, seeing the limitations of DRT-SCSITOOL, if you really want to have the functions of PC3K-DE to image the drives, you might as well simply connect a SAS non-RAID controller to your PC3K system.
