Data recovery tool/Software

Anyone knows a data recovery tool/software thats is free? I found several ones but after each scan, I'm being asked to purchase the software in order to recover my data.

There are free ones, but nothing that's going to get as good of results as paid data recovery software such as R-Studio or Recovery Explorer.

Probably the best free program is Photorec which comes with TestDisk. It's a command line program, not GUI, but it's pretty powerful for a free program. Another option is Recuva Free.

All Software Developers wants to eat. Yes, time to time they may provide some free products but only for marketing reasons. And belive, they will never make free their best product
