    First you need to check if the drive is in good shape or not, or if it is only a logical issue. You can use VictoriaHDD for that. If it starts to show physical issues, you should image the drive, for instance, with HDDSUPERCLONE, and only after that, use data recovery software to get the data back.

    For the price that a 240GB SSD costs now, I think you should swap the HDD for a SSD. It will make your laptop work a lot better, and yes, most probably your drive is bad, even if that log only shows 6 bad sectors (which I doubt).

    Do you know what you are really doing? It seems you want a DIY solution, but with head swaps unfortunately this doesn't work like that... Sorry, I will not help you, because you will make it worse. If data is really important, seek a professional.
